Join us for an unforgettable summer packed with fun, creativity, and learning! Horizon Leadership Academy's Summer Camp runs from June 2nd to June 18th and is open to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Located at 9301 W Bellfort Blvd, Building F, Houston, TX 77031, our camp offers an exciting lineup of activities, including soccer, basketball, volleyball (girls), team building, creative minds studio, science fun zone, and exploring music lab. Plus, students will enjoy character education/Quran sessions, a field trip, and receive a T-shirt, backpack, and hat.

HLA Summer Camp runs from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM for regular day campers.
HLA Summer Camp makes full use of our top-notch facilities to create an unforgettable experience. Drop-off and pick-up will take place at 9301 W Bellfort Blvd, Building F, Houston, TX 77031. Please ensure your child is picked up promptly at the end of the camp day.

At HLA Summer Camp, our Soccer Boys program offers an exciting outdoor experience, where campers can enhance their soccer skills while having fun. Whether they're learning new techniques or playing friendly matches, the program promotes teamwork, fitness, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment.
The Team Building program at HLA Summer Camp encourages campers to work together to solve challenges and build strong communication skills. In our gymnasium, they’ll engage in activities designed to foster cooperation, trust, and leadership, all while having fun with their peers.
Unleash your child’s creativity at the Creative Minds Studio! In this hands-on workshop, campers will explore various art forms, from painting to sculpture, while expressing their unique ideas. It’s a space where imagination thrives, and every project is an opportunity to discover new talents.
The Science Fun Zone at HLA Summer Camp offers an interactive and exciting way to learn about the world around us. Through fun experiments, engaging activities, and hands-on learning, campers will dive into the wonders of science, sparking their curiosity and developing a love for discovery.
Yes! You may sign up for extended care at the time of registration.
Campers not enrolled in extended day must be picked up by 3:00 PM. Late pick-ups will incur the following charges:
3-3:30pm pick up: $15
3:30-4pm pick up: $30
Beyond 4pm: $50
No, children between the ages of 6 and 8th grade are welcome to register, regardless of whether they are current students at Horizon Leadership Academy
Please send your child to camp in comfortable clothing that they may be active in. Ensure they have athletic shoes (for example, no sandals, please).
For splash days, your child should come to camp with their waterproof shoes on. Please pack a change of clothes, sandals, and a towel.
HLA Summer Camp provides all supplies for activities, as well as lunch each day. Each child will receive a t-shirt, backpack, and hat. Children should bring their own water bottle
Horizon Leadership Academy is excited to offer two intensive USACO Bronze Preparation camps designed to help students build their algorithmic thinking and programming skills. These camps are taught by veteran USACO coach Muhyeddin Ercan and are conducted via Zoom.
Camp 1: USACO Bronze Preparation (June 3 – June 20)
Focus: Introduction to USACO Bronze-level programming
Course Content: Algorithmic Thinking & Programming Part 1 and Part 2
Prerequisites: Current math level of Algebra 1 or Pre-Algebra, ORAMC-8 score of at least 15/25 from the 2024 AMC-8 Exam
Schedule:
Tuesdays: 5 PM – 7 PM (Central Time)
Fridays: 3 PM – 5 PM (Central Time)
Dates: June 3 – June 20
Camp Fee: $180
Sessions: 6 x 2-hour sessions, conducted via Zoom
Camp 2: USACO Bronze Preparation (July 15 – August 1)

Advanced USACO Bronze-level programming

Additional Details:
Students will occasionally have the opportunity to gather in person at Horizon Leadership Academy for social activities, including board games, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
Join us for an exciting and hands-on summer course where students explore engineering through creative projects and build real-life solutions. Our courses for Grades 4-11 focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills. Students will receive project kits and get hands-on experience in building simple machines, electronics, and coding projects.

The course will take place from June 2–18 (Mon-Thurs), There will be a total of 11 sessions, including two bonus Career & Development sessions. Each session will be conducted in person at Raindrop Turkish House, 9301 W Bellfort Ave, Houston, TX 77031. For those unable to make it in person, online/zoom facility with recordings is also available.

Class 1 (Grades 4-5): Introduction to Engineering & Basic Electronics. Learn basic circuits, machines, and coding with fun hands-on activities.
Class 2 (Grades 6-7): Engineering Principles & Hands-On Problem Solving. Dive into intermediate electronics, motors, sensors, and coding to build interactive projects like robotic models.
Class 3 (Grades 8-11): Advanced Projects & Real-World Applications. Master coding, sensors, and build advanced systems such as IoT devices, robots, and smart home projects.
