Review Your Submission
By using the admissions checklist, you can monitor your child's progress throughout the admissions procedure, which includes scheduling tours, assessment dates, uploading report cards, requesting teacher recommendations, and other required documents.
Admission Criteria
At HLA, our objective is to produce knowledgeable global citizens. When making admissions decisions, we prioritize the following critical factors:
● Student grades
● Previous class placement
● Student standardized test and national norm test results
● Discipline Report
We consider the following criteria when evaluating prospective students for admission to HLA:
● A cumulative overall GPA of 90 or higher, with advanced placement taken into account.
● An average of 90 or higher in the subjects of Math and Science, with advanced placement taken into account.
● For students who previously attended the Texas public school system, we consider their performance on the STAAR test, with particular emphasis on Math and Science scores, when evaluating their admission to HLA.
